Safari
Experience the magic of the African savanna, game drives on the vast grassy plains, exciting wildlife encounters and spectacular sunsets silhouetting umbrella trees and baobabs
A safari gets into your blood. The change of pace, the scenery, the animals. Days full of life and experience. Time for contemplation and for the impressions to seep in.

You are up at sunrise because the animals are most active in the hours of early daylight. The phone and appointments book are left behind. The day is yours to command. Although at times it can be an effort to keep track of all the animals captured by the lens on a single expedition. You return to the lodge late in the morning for a hearty brunch, as Kenya glides by at its usual easygoing pace.
And in the afternoon, when the sharp rays of the sun soften and loose their intensity you clamber on board the safari vehicle yet again in search of new big game encounters. |

Big Five and the wildebeest migration
Many of Kenya’s parks and reserves focus on the conservation of a particular species of animal or fauna. You can sign up for a “genuine” safari and observe the Big Five and lots of other animals in their natural habitat, or visit one of Kenya’s marine parks to experience first hand the fantastic array of life under and around the water’s surface.
July and August offer quite a phenomenal safari experience when up to two million wildebeest and zebra begin their long trek from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. | |
